Ingredient categories, specifications and ways to shape a workable brief.
Useful to share: botanical or ingredient / active or ratio / application
Are you a manufacturer or trading company?
NutriHerb is operated by Nanjing NutriHerb BioTech Co., Ltd. We manufacture and supply botanical extracts and functional ingredients from China.
We have worked with international ingredient buyers since 2004. Our 6,000 m² production site is supported by laboratory testing that includes HPLC, UV and GC. Because the route can differ by botanical and specification, we confirm the actual production arrangement before quoting.
Which ingredient categories can NutriHerb support?
Our range covers botanical extracts, mushroom extracts, functional and liposomal ingredients, natural colors, fruit and vegetable powders, tea extracts and cosmetic ingredients.
The botanical name alone is not always enough to identify the right grade. Include the active component or extract ratio, intended application and target specification in your enquiry.
Can you support customised, OEM or ODM projects?
Yes. The scope can include product development, sample review, powder blending, granulation, capsule or tablet formats, packaging and private-label work.
Send the formula or ingredient brief, dosage form, target market and expected quantity. We will identify what can be made in-house, what needs a trial and which documents are available before the project moves forward.
Can you supply an ingredient or specification that is not listed on the website?
Please send the ingredient or botanical name, plant part, desired extract ratio or active assay, test method, application, quantity and destination. Details such as solubility, particle size, carrier or processing restrictions are also useful when relevant.
We can then check existing materials, customised production feasibility or a suitable alternative. The final specification and sample are confirmed before an order proceeds.
What information should I send for an accurate quotation?
Please include the product name, desired specification or assay, application, quantity, packing preference, destination country and any required certificates or documents.
This helps us align the material, available documentation, lead time and shipping option before we quote.
Samples & orders
Samples & orders
Sampling, payment, quantities and first-order logistics.
Useful to share: sample or order quantity / target date / destination
How can we get free samples for lab testing?
For many ingredients, we can provide a 5g-20g sample for laboratory evaluation together with the available COA. Sample quantity and courier cost depend on the material and destination.
Include the product, specification and application so the sample matches the grade you intend to evaluate.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept payment by T/T bank transfer. For larger orders, L/C can also be discussed.
For small payments or sample orders, we can accept PayPal or Western Union.
What is your MOQ?
Our MOQ depends on the product, specification, and shipping method.
- Courier shipment: usually from 1kg
- Air shipment: usually from 50kg
- Sea shipment: usually from 100kg
For some high-value products, smaller quantities may also be available. Please contact us for details.
Are products kept in stock, and how is production lead time confirmed?
Some regular ingredients are held in stock; customised specifications and OEM or ODM work require production scheduling and, where applicable, sample approval.
A typical quoted production window is within 15 working days, but the working date is the one confirmed for your product, quantity and document requirements. Stock status and dispatch timing are checked again before the order is finalised.
I am an individual, not a company. Can I buy plant extracts?
Yes, we can supply plant extracts to both companies and individual buyers.
However, please note that some products may require import documents or customs clearance support, depending on your country and the product type.
How can I place an order if I am not familiar with international imports?
Tell us the destination country, quantity and intended use. We can explain the available courier, air or sea options and the documents normally supplied with that shipment.
Trade terms may include FOB, CIF, DDU or DDP, subject to the product and destination. Import permits, local registration and final customs requirements remain subject to the rules in the buyer's market.

What third-party inspection agencies can NutriHerb work with?
We can cooperate with recognised third-party laboratories or inspection agencies, including SGS, when a project requires independent confirmation.
Name the agency, test panel and sampling requirement before the order is placed so timing, cost and acceptance criteria can be agreed in advance.
How do you control product quality?
We follow ISO-based quality management procedures.
Before delivery, each batch is checked by our QC team for key quality indicators such as appearance, assay, purity, moisture, microbiology, heavy metals, and other required specifications based on the product standard.
We can provide documents such as COA, specification sheet, MSDS, flow chart, allergen statement, non-GMO statement, and other documents when available.
Which test methods and documents can support product review?
Our laboratory capability includes HPLC, UV, TLC, GC and AAS. The applicable method depends on the ingredient and the parameter being checked.
Product review may be supported with a COA, TDS, specification and batch-specific report. If the buyer needs an additional method or independent result, we confirm third-party testing before the order or shipment.
Can you provide certification or traceability documents?
Our public company materials list ISO, Kosher, Halal, EU Organic and USDA Organic programmes within applicable scopes. Please tell us the exact product and market so we can confirm current eligibility and available supporting documents.
Traceability records can connect raw-material procurement, production, storage and sales information with the relevant quality documentation.
How should I report a quality concern or complaint?
Please contact us promptly with the order number, product and batch or lot number, quantity affected, packing condition, photographs and a clear description of the issue. Storage information and any third-party test report are also helpful.
We will review the batch documentation, available retained sample and relevant production or logistics records, then provide a documented response and discuss the appropriate corrective next step based on the findings.

What is the shelf life, and how should the material be stored?
Shelf life is confirmed on the product specification or batch COA because it can vary by ingredient, format and packing.
Unless the product documentation states otherwise, keep the material in its original sealed package in a cool, dry place, protected from strong light, heat and moisture. After opening, reseal it carefully and follow the handling guidance supplied for that product.
